CANCUN, Mexico, March 05, 2018 -- On February 15, NexusTours, the leading destination management company with presence in 15 countries and 48 destinations, celebrated the 2018 Suppliers Awards in the beautiful Bellefield Estate, Montego Bay to reward the achievements of its Jamaican suppliers.

Andrew Smith, Country Director for Jamaica, kicked-off the evening with a warm welcome to all attendees. He expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported NexusTours during the last few years and for the excellent results they have achieved together.
Ruben Gutierrez, Managing Director, highlighted the company’s achievements and the records broken during the year. The announcement of short- and long-term plans was received with a loud applause by the crowd.

After a year filled with successful operations, NexusTours selected the best company for every category. The finalists and winners of the awards were announced by the Master of Ceremonies Craig Bloomfield, Supervisor Jamaica. The winners were:
- Falmouth Mystic Lagoon–Growth 2018
- Dolphin Discovery – Innovation 2018
- Kiuki Tours & Transportation – Quality 2018
The suspense was palpable before the announcement of the last two awards:
- VIP Attractions, winner of the prestigious Country Director’s Award.
- Chukka Caribbean Adventures (Chukka) earned the most important award of the night: 2018 Supplier of the Year
After the award ceremony, the celebrated Jamaican singer Kevin Clarke took the stage and captivated the public. He was followed by Reggae Tech DJ, Kevon Steward, who brought a great festive mood to end the evening.
