“One Piece 925” will be a surprise to a lot of fans, largely because of how it basically cools down the momentum gathered during the first part of the Wano arc. By shifting the focus to other characters from different parts of the world, the author is setting the story up for something big. However, it will also likely reveal the weakness that might finally bring down Kaido and allow Luffy to win against him.
One of the central themes of discussions with regards to “One Piece 925” right now is how Luffy could possibly defeat someone like Kaido. In his past bouts against powerful enemies, the stretchy protagonist had always seemed like he stood a chance. Either he simply needed to figure out a strategy or he had to overcome a particular obstacle in order to win.
With regards to Kaido, however, the whole of the manga’s world seems to agree that he is invincible. Every time his name is mentioned, he is given various descriptions that are intended to make him seem immortal. This might just change in “One Piece 925” when Luffy is told by someone that there is a weakness that can be exploited.
This information is reportedly going to come from an old companion of Gol D Roger, the previous pirate king. As someone who comes from that era and who holds so much power, he would undoubtedly know something about Kaido that the rest of the youngsters would not. This could mean that “One Piece 925” is where the downfall of the yonko begins.
On that note, this could be nothing more than hearsay. Readers won’t be able to know what is real until “One Piece 925” is released on Nov. 23. Fans should brace themselves for the overload of information that is coming up.
