It has been a long time since Luffy and Zoro fought together in one epic battleground, but “One Piece” Chapter 917 will fix that once it releases. With the two characters being like brothers, it’s always a treat to see the two of them back-to-back when taking on powerful foes. Considering the mess they made in the previous chapter, they are in for one heck of a battle.
As Vostory notes, fans will see the manga’s two original members of the Straw Hat Pirates fight several powerful enemies in “One Piece” Chapter 917. These include Holdem and Basil Hawkins, and Law is also jumping in. This should make for a truly special series of events for the Wano arc, which has mostly been boring and dull.
Another awesome aspect of fights that involve both Luffy and Zoro is the banter that goes on. It’s always fun to see the swordsman reacting to something that his captain does, which he deems stupid. One can only hope that “One Piece” Chapter 917 will also see a lot of this going on in the middle of the action.
On that note, it seems this particular fight is going to be interesting in that Basil Hawkins is already predicting their defeat in the hands of Luffy, Otaku Art reports. To be more specific, though, he told his subordinates not to fight Luffy because they are simply outmatched. In any case, it’s clear that a fight is inevitable anyway, so fans might as well enjoy the show once “One Piece” Chapter 917 releases.
“One Piece” Chapter 917 is scheduled for release on Sept. 12. The manga is currently taking a one week break, which should provide the author and illustrators plenty of time for even more pirate action. This could be the perfect time since things will just heat up from here.
