Kansas City, Missouri, March 16, 2018 --
The US Army Corps of Engineers issued a solicitation today which will result in eight separate contracts for small businesses who can provide janitorial and park attendant services in Kansas and Missouri. They are only taking quotes from small businesses. The last day a small business can submit a quote is March 30, 2018. For assistance meeting this deadline with proper registrations and a strong offer, small businesses may use third-party government registration firm, US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR).
The requirements to fulfill the US Army Corps of Engineers' needs vary from contract to contract. An organized approach to understanding all requirements is available on the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP) from USFCR. Businesses will see that the work is centered around Harry S Truman Lake, Perry Lake and Stockton Lake. The types of attendants at the various locations are as follows:
- Equestrian Custodian at Berry Bend South
- Park Custodian at Perry Day Use Area
- Park Attendant at Perry Slough Creek
- Park Attendant at Ruark Bluff East
- Park Attendant and Custodian at Stockton Orleans Trail
- Park Attendant Stockton Relief Park, Custodian at Hawker Point/Crabtree Cover
- Custodian at Harry Truman Sparrowfoot
- Park Attendant at Berry Bend
The contracts will be IDIQ contracts, meaning that the government will issue tasks within the period of performance. The contractor will invoice the tasks as they are completed. A possibility to extend the contracts through options will be available up to three years past the original period of performance. A complete understanding of all requirements should be read on the actual solicitation. Acquisition Specialists at US Federal Contractor Registration are standing by to assist with educational materials to help business's understand the government's language on these documents.
Offers are due to Contracting Officer Robert G. Nicholas ([email protected]) by March 30, 2018. This deadline does not give the contractor a very large window to understand all requirements, become registered properly and make an offer to the government. For assistance with all of these matters, businesses may use third-party registration firm US Federal Contractor Registration.
US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR) is the world’s largest third-party government registration firm. They have helped thousands of entities translate their capabilities into the U.S. Government’s language and systems with the Simplified Acquisition Program, bid training and proposal writing services. They not only register companies on their behalf in the System for Award Management (SAM), but also have pioneered the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP). APP shows active and historical federal business opportunity information in the same place, simplifying market research. Active federal buyers and vendors are not only cataloged in APP, but also are also using the system, creating a powerful network. Businesses who partner with USFCR will be able dedicate their complete effort toward their performance on a contract, rather than the acquisition of it.
