The parallels between the major international hit TV series “Breaking Bad” and Jason Bateman’s (Marty Byrde) crime thriller “Ozark” are unmistakable, and this is not necessarily a bad thing. Both shows have nailed the intensity of life involving crime and dealing with drug cartels. In “Ozark” Season 3, it would appear that the characters will be continuing their descent into the same depressing route as Walter White (Bryan Cranston) did.
As RadioTimes reports, the Byrdes have gotten themselves tangled up in an even deeper mess than before in the last season. What they had to do in order to survive put them beyond the realm of the reasonable and this road will be the only one left to them in “Ozark” Season 3. It will not just be the family harming others, as well, because there will also be schemes and secrets between them.
One example of just how deep into the world of crime Marty is now immersed in is the casino boat that he opened by the end of “Ozark” Season 2. This floating den of depravity will be the vehicle with which drug cartel money will be washed clean. Due to some deaths in the previous season, however, the law will also likely come knocking in “Ozark” Season 3.
The involvement of the FBI to investigate the murder of police officers is always a recipe for tension and it could be one of the main points of thrills for “Ozark” Season 3. Along with that is how Marty’s wife seems intent on doing things behind his back and even enticing other family members in the process.
All of this will be available for fans to see when “Ozark” Season 3 comes out. As for when this will be, early 2020 is currently the best bet when taking production time into consideration.
