RALEIGH, N.C., March 14, 2018 -- PRA Health Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:PRAH) is pleased to announce it has won a 2018 CRO Phase IV Leadership Award (Overall, Big Pharma). For the 2018 CRO Leadership Awards, Life Science Leader magazine once again teamed up with Industry Standard Research (ISR) to determine the award recipients. 70 contract research organizations were assessed on 20+ performance metrics in ISR’s annual CRO Quality Benchmarking survey.
“We are delighted to see our Real World Solutions team recognized for the important work that they do analyzing the impact of breakthrough treatments in real world settings,” said Colin Shannon, PRA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our clients rely on our ability to gather and analyze evidence, generate real-time results, and deliver transformative insights. This award is recognition of the innovative ways the team captures, analyzes, and qualifies product performance—and patient behavior—in ways that are cost-effective and convenient.”
Over the past five years, the Real World Solutions team has integrated real world intelligence into 340+ studies, targeting 257,400+ patients at 17,200+ sites across 70 countries.
For the 2018 Leadership Awards, survey participants were recruited from Pharma and Biopharma companies of all sizes and were screened for decision-making influence related to working with contract research organizations. The awards recognize the CROs that meet or exceed customer expectations.
“Life Science Leader is proud to be working with ISR Reports to honor those CROs that have proven themselves to be the top performers in Compatibility, Capabilities, Expertise, Quality, Reliability, and Phase IV,” said Ed Miseta, Executive Editor, Life Science Leader. “The winners were decided by looking at 20+ different performance metrics, as rated by decision-making executives at biopharmaceutical companies. The CROs receiving an award this year are truly at the top of their class, and are deserving of the recognition they receive. Being a top performer in any of these categories shows a level of expertise and commitment to clinical trials and serving the needs of biopharmaceutical companies and their patients.”
PRA previously received CRO Leadership Awards in 2016 and 2015.
