Pauley Perrette recently took up the 10-year challenge on Twitter and fans of “NCIS” quickly flooded the actress’ post with positive feedback. Most of the replies commented on how “The Ring” star didn’t age one bit with some of them asking what’s her secret for having such young skin.
In response, Pauley Perrette said that she doesn’t put special products on her skin. “FYI Only use soap and Vaseline on my face. Nothing else. (Don’t believe the hype) my mom was so much more beautiful. I give ‘not aging gene’ to her, except cancer got her first. And beers maybe? I love beer,” the actress posted on Twitter.
But aside from the compliments that Pauley Perrette got, her followers also reminisced her time when she was still a series regular in “NCIS.” Until now, it’s still unknown what exactly occurred that resulted in the actress walking away from the police procedural.
Pauley Perrette previously said that she left the series in good terms and there was no bad blood between her and those involved with the show. However, her previous tweets are telling another story although it’s difficult to create a clear narrative on it given how cryptic it was.
In March of last year, Pauley Perrette posted a series of tweets that mainly focused on violence and her silence regarding the “NCIS” incident. While she didn’t specifically mention the show, the implication seems to suggest that she was indeed referring to it, CountryLiving reported.
“There is a ‘machine’ keeping me silent, and feeding FALSE stories about me. A very rich, very powerful publicity ‘machine.’ No morals, no obligation to truth, and I'm just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew. Trying to remain calm. He did it,” Pauley Perrette posted.
Vanity Fair reached out to the actress’ rep to ask for comments who exactly “he” is but no one has been forthcoming. As for what’s next for Pauley Perrette, the actress hasn’t revealed information about it either and there’s no project involving her as of this writing.
