Worldwide food and beverage giant PepsiCo is set to hire 800 workers in Ontario as part of their National Hiring Day. This Canada-wide initiative aims to recruit workers to produce, distribute, and sell popular PepsiCo brands such as Pepsi-Cola, bubbly sparkling water, Gatorade, Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, and Ruffles.
PepsiCo's commitment to providing employment opportunities has been recognized. Mediacorp Canada recently named the company one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People.
Two Waves of Hiring
Insauga reported that the hiring process will take place in two waves. The first wave, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 15, will focus on hiring workers for PepsiCo Foods.
The second wave, set for Saturday, Feb. 24, will concentrate on hiring for PepsiCo Beverages. Successful candidates can earn $15,000 in these full-time, seasonal positions throughout the summer.
Variety of Roles Available
PepsiCo is looking to fill several seasonal and full-time roles, including warehouse workers (technicians and packers), account merchandisers, route sales representatives, AZ delivery drivers, and general production workers. The company strongly emphasizes hiring individuals with the right attitude and provides training to develop the necessary skills for specific roles.
Nationwide Opportunities
Curiocity noted that positions are open nationwide, including Greater Toronto Area (GTA) areas such as Mississauga, Brampton, Ancaster, and Stoney Creek. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online through the provided links before the hiring fair.
