Porsche AG, a German vehicle maker that specializes in high-performance luxury sports cars, sedans, and SUVs, has expanded its business to include the production of eBikes. Now it has added two new models of electric bikes to its portfolio to further boost its new product line.
Porsche unveiled the two units, which were named the eBike Cross Performance and the eBike Cross Performance EXC. HypeBeast reported that the models were both made in collaboration with Rotwild Bikes, a known eBike specialist based in Dieburg, Germany.
Through the partnership between Porsche and Rotwild Bikes, they have created a product that has features of both renowned labels in their respective fields. This means the new eBikes have speed, function, and beauty that people will certainly love, even if they are riding on leveled ground or bumpy trails.
The new Porsche eBike Cross Performance and the eBike Cross Performance EXC also boast of having excellent chassis performance and braking power. It was mentioned that the bikes were already in the market, but these are the upgraded versions that were made for improved performance.
The Cross Performance EXC is available in select colors, which may include Porsche’s exclusive shades of ruby star neo, mamba green metallic, ice gray metallic, shark blue, shade green metallic, and carmine red. Customers can choose from three frame sizes for the Porsche eBike models, and these are S (for approx. 1.56–1.70 m body height), M (for approx. 1.68–1.82 m body height), and L (for approx. 1.80–1.94 m body height).
“The Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC is designed to meet individualized requirements and exudes true craftsmanship, thanks to select colors from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. There is a choice of Star Ruby Neo, Ice Gray Metallic, Mamba Green Metallic, Carmine Red, Shade Green Metallic, and Shark Blue – vivid, partly historic variants that enjoy cult status among Porsche fans,” Porsche said in a statement.
Finally, the Porche eBikes are priced at €12,900 for the eBike Cross Performance and €13,900 for the eBike Cross Performance EXC. They can be bought at select Porche Centers, Porche Design Stores and the brand’s store.porsche.com online store.
