Pieter Booth, MMA, is a new Principal in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Booth has over 30 years of experience as an environmental scientist and program manager specializing in ecotoxicology and risk assessment, natural resource damage assessment (NRDA), and restoration of natural systems. A thought leader in the application of ecosystem services assessment for natural resources management, he has directed many complex multidisciplinary projects to assess ecological risks and impacts from releases of hazardous substances and oil. He directs and participates in environmental and social due diligence audits for multilateral banks in the energy, transportation and natural resources sectors. He has served as consulting expert related to exposure and ecological effects and developed expert reports for review by the International Court of Justice. Mr. Booth is nationally and internationally recognized for his work, particularly for providing technical support to industry clients during NRDA restoration-based settlement negotiations. He also provides expert consultation on environmental insurance claims in Latin America.
Robert Livermore is a new Principal in Phoenix, Arizona. During his 30 years of experience in the geological and environmental consulting fields, Mr. Livermore has conducted subsurface soil investigations, environmental assessments, due diligence and compliance audits, and site remediation for the mining, oil & gas, manufacturing and semiconductor sectors. He has been involved with RCRA and CERCLA sites, including providing litigation support and technical review. He has worked across the project life cycle on major projects for the extractive industries, with regional experience in Europe, Africa, Indonesia, Latin America, the US and Canada. He has also been involved in various capacities at gold, copper, molybdenum, lead/zinc and other mining assets in North America. A Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada and GIT in Arizona, Mr. Livermore is a member of the National Groundwater Association and the Association of Engineering Geologists. He serves as Vice Chairman of the SME Maricopa Division and company representative for the National Mining Association.
