COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 15, 2018 -- Red8, the industry expert in architecting the software-defined data center, has named Frank Wiacek as president. An IT industry veteran, Wiacek will provide strategic leadership that leverages the organization’s momentum to drive new growth and achieve the next level of success.

Reporting to John Ford, CEO of Insight Investments, Frank will direct all aspects of the Red8 business including Operations, Sales, Engineering, Professional Services and Partnerships. By actively engaging with every area of the company, Frank will ensure further success in creating long term, successful partnerships and customer relationships.

With 24 years of sales leadership experience, Frank is a proven executive that brings strategic vision and industry expertise. Prior to joining Red8, Frank served as the chief revenue officer of a private equity backed, behavioral health organization. Previously, having held several executive roles at EMC Corporation, Frank was focused in the IT infrastructure industry. As area vice president for EMC’s Western Region, Frank was awarded top honors for revenue and growth. There, he also helped to build EMC’s SMB and mid-market presence over a 4-year period. Earlier he served as general manager for the EMC/Dell business unit, growing annual revenues to nearly $2 billion.
