“Rick and Morty” season 4 is considered as delayed since the previous season concluded in October 2017. Yes, it has been more than a year since the third season aired and sadly, the follow-up is not yet around until now. Then again, even after the long wait, fans continue to anticipate since its renewal was already announced a long time ago.
The exciting part that came with the announcement was that Adult Swim was ordered to produce a total of 70 episodes which would be divided for the next six or seven installments that would be released in the future. This means that the animated series has already secured more season thus when “Rick and Morty” season 4 concludes, there would be many more chapters to come.
Now, the real question is when is “Rick and Morty” season 4 coming? Although Adult Swim and the series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have been updating fans about their progress with regards to the production of season 4, they have not mentioned anything about premiere date.
However, many people think that the recent post on Adult Swim’s Twitter page is a hint that the release date for the animated show is set to be announced soon. In fact, others suggest that the short clip that was shared is actually a trailer that is giving clues as to what “Rick and Morty” season 4 is about. But some fans pointed out that this could mean nothing at all since Adult Swim already released many short clips like these and it seems that they are not really connected to the new season.

Finally, whatever the case, fans should extend their patience a bit more since Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland actually made a promise to speed up with their works on “Rick and Morty” season 4 for fans would not have to endure long hiatus anymore.
“We want the episodes to stay good, but we do also want to try to turn them around a little quicker now that we have this big order, I think it gives us the ability to be faster,” Polygon quoted Roiland as saying after “Rick and Morty” season 4 was renewed. “We’re not going to do these long breaks, these chasms in between seasons anymore. We’re going to schedule vacation time and just keep the machine going.”
“Rick and Morty” season 4 is still in production and currently, it has no air date yet but as stated on Radio Times, it is expected to arrive by the end of 2019.
