Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are in “Outlander” since its very first episode and now they are thrilled, as the show already reached its 50th episode. To be more exact, the drama celebrated this milestone in season 4’s eight episode called “Wilmington” and the co-stars couldn’t believe that they had been on the show this long.
Now, to celebrate the “Outlander” 50th episode, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe had a cute exchange of messages via social media. When the show’s official Twitter page mentioned the milestone, the 39-year-old actress reacted by saying,
"What? We're 50 already and nobody mentioned it until NOW...Ummmmm this requires some of (champagne emoji) right @SamHeughan."
Immediately, the actor replied with a short but sweet message. He wrote, “Right. Looking for 50 candles and a cake big enough."
Fans also congratulated Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe and they expressed their love for the time-traveling fantasy drama. In any case, the next episode after the milestone is titled “The Birds and The Bees” and this will focus on Brianna after traveling through the walls to look for her parents.
Moreover, it seems that Jamie and Claire Fraser will have a conflict after learning that both of them had kept secrets from each other because they were trying to help Bree with overcoming her trauma. Unfortunately, the couple proved that keeping secrets from loved ones is bad as the act only created a big rift in their family. The “Outlander” season 4 episode 9 will be released on Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. on Starz Network.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Diana Gabaldon is releasing a new “Outlander” book titled “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.” The author stated that she will be publishing the book soon and fans will be able to see it on bookstores some time in 2019. As mentioned by the author, the book will focus on the story of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Beauchamp Randall (Caitriona Balfe).
