SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 20, 2017 -- San Francisco Federal Credit Union announced today that Sherry Javad has joined the credit union as chief operations officer. This announcement was made by Jonathan Oliver, president and chief executive officer of San Francisco Federal Credit Union.

“Sherry joins the credit union with extensive experience in retail delivery and operations,” Oliver said. “Her operations support background will greatly assist us as we continue to strengthen the operations services and electronic payment functions of the credit union. In addition, she provides critical support and oversight in electronic banking, compliance and fraud protection. We are fortunate to have someone of Sherry’s caliber on our team.”
Javad has more than 25 years of financial experience. Prior to joining San Francisco Federal Credit Union, she was vice president of retail delivery for First Financial Credit Union and chief operations officer for Telesis Community Credit Union. At San Francisco Federal Credit Union, Javad is directly responsible for operations, account services, electronic payment systems, electronic banking services, compliance and fraud protection.
Javad holds a bachelor of science in business from John Carroll University.
