‘Southern Charm’ Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers: Who Will Be Coming Back? Bravo Confirms Thomas Ravenel’s Exit Following Arrest for Assault

“Southern Charm” season 6 is coming back with fresh episodes and this was confirmed when Bravo announced its plans to expand its programming. The network revealed that it has created 11 new shows and ordered the renewal of 20 of its original programs.

Via a press release, Bravo’s executive VP, Jerry Leo, relayed that they are making an effort to offer more shows that the viewers want to watch so they decided to expand the network’s programming to seven nights.

“Our brand offers a unique environment for our viewers to escape with drama that is fun and funny, yet far from their normal reality,” he said in the statement. “By doubling down on noisy formats and big characters, expanding our lifestyle programming in the design and home space, and offering seven nights a week of originals, we’ll be able to serve our fans more of what they crave while also attracting new viewers with our wide scope of programming.”

One of Bravo’s most watched and controversial reality shows has been listed for another run so “Southern Charm” season 6 is preparing for its new episodes. When it premieres, according to The Hollywood Gossip, the returning cast members will include Kathryn Dennis, Shep Rose, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Chelsea Meissner, Austen Kroll, and Naomie Olindo.

There is one who is not coming back and it is Thomas Ravenel, the father of Kathryn's two children. In May, two women accused the 56-year-old of sexual assault and in August, he was arrested for second-degree assault and battery in Charleston.

The arrest was not related to the charges in May but it was said to be from a warrant that was issued in January 2015. The complainant for that warrant was the nanny who lived with Ravenel and Dennis before. The unnamed woman accused the reality star of sexual assault, Us Weekly reported.

With her ex’s arrest, Kathryn Dennis is now seeking modifications of Thomas Ravenel’s custody and visitation rights. The paperwork was filed on Oct. 26 and there is still no update if Kathryn will be granted sole custody of her daughter Kensie, 4, and son Saint, 3.

When asked to comment on Thomas Ravenel’s arrest, Kathryn Dennis only said, “I’m not going to comment until, I guess, it’s resolved. What I’m going to focus on is the children and staying out of it.”

“Southern Charm” season 6 has no airdate yet but reports suggest that it will be out in early April next year. Viewers can expect a total of 10 episodes for this season.
