'Star Wars: Episode IX' Premiere Date, Spoilers: John Boyega Teases Film’s End, C-3PO Scenes Done Filming

The premiere for “Star Wars: Episode IX” might not be until the end of the year but things are already heating up as 2019 trudges past its first month. There have been plenty of teasers, rumors, and reports going around to make fans’ heads spin. In a recent development, for example, actor John Boyega who plays Finn teased how the movie would end. It would also appear that the scenes involving C-3PO are done.

It looks like fans are getting trolled hard by John Boyega on social media when the actor replied to a question about how “Star Wars: Episode IX” will end, Comic Book reports. The reply reads, "Yep. Fades to black and the credits go up," which is not exactly wrong. What’s more, it would have been inappropriate for anyone to believe that the actor would give anything away when asked.

On that note, he was quite happy to share other details that would not spoil the events of “Star Wars: Episode IX.” For example, he has been providing plenty of hints as to how far along the filming progress is for the movie. One of his posts reads, "Just a little more! This one has been the most fun by far."

Speaking of scenes in “Star Wars: Episode IX” that are finished filming, C-3PO’s appear to be done. This is based on actor Anthony Daniels’ recent post on social media announcing this fact.

“Today was 3PO's last on Episode IX. He's sad - so am I. But we're so proud to have worked with such a lovely, talented cast & crew lead by J.J. & Kathy. I'll miss everyone but I'm glad to know that we've been making something exceptional together, to share with the waiting world,” the post reads.

With that done, all fans have to do now is wait for “Star Wars: Episode IX” to premiere in theatres. Dec. 19 would be the date to keep in mind.
