Players might have to wait throughout 2021 to see the “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” Fighters Pass Vol. 2 lineup completed. However, someone has correctly guessed three out of six playable characters in the DLC collection making fans consider if the rest of the list would become a reality as well.

‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’ DLC rumors: Who are the likely remaining Vol. 2 fighters

The third fighter in the collection was just unveiled earlier this month — Sephiroth from the “Final Fantasy” franchise. With the new fighter’s announcement, fans cannot help but be amazed and intrigued with a 4Chan post made last May that already correctly predicted the addition of Min Min (“ARMS”), Steve (“Minecraft”), and Sephiroth.

“Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” fans are now wondering if the rest of the list would be accurate as well. The rest of the post is guessing Doomguy from the “DOOM” series, the titular Rayman, and Ryu Hayabusa of “Ninja Gaiden” could be the next playable characters.

Since the anonymous 4Chan user has correctly guessed half of the “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” Fighters Pass Vol. 2 lineup, some reports are now loosely calling it an information leak. But judging from the discussion on the message board, it appears to be more like a speculation than a report from an insider. It is, however, tough to overlook how accurate the list has been throughout the year. Min Min’s addition to the game was not confirmed until June. Steve and Alex were added last October.

‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’: When to expect the next Challenger Pack release dates

There are no definite release dates provided for the rest of the Challenger Packs included in the “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” Fighters Pass Vol. 2. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the developers have previously stated that completing the collection may happen sometime before Dec. 31 next year.

Fans can still purchase the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for $29.99, but note that a “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” base game is required to access its content. Each Challenger Pack can also be bought separately and comes with a new stage and in-game music along with a new playable character.
