A new rumor involving Suri Cruise is gaining traction online which claims that the 12-year-old will be starting off her Hollywood career soon. What’s more, she’ll also be starring with her mother, Katie Holmes, in the supposed secret project.
According to NW (via Gossip Cop), Suri Cruise will be starring in the reboot of “Dawson’s Creek.” She’s supposedly going to play the daughter of Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Joey (Katie Holmes), although the outlet did say that this hasn’t been decided yet.
Of course, given that NW is pushing the claim, it’s best to take their word with heavy skepticism. The tabloid has been consistently proven to be an unreliable source of information. For instance, the publication wrote an article last October contending that Suri Cruise is angry at Katie Holmes.
The root of the spat is supposedly Katie’s decision to move in with Jamie Foxx. Unsurprisingly, the story proved to be nothing more than fabrication and no quarrel between Suri Cruise and her mom occurred. In fact, the unofficial couple hasn’t even moved in together since that story was published. They also haven’t officially announced that they are indeed an item, opting to continue with their rather unorthodox way of dating.
Returning to the alleged “Dawson’s Creek” project, Gossip Cop reached out to Katie Holmes rep to ask for comments. The spokesperson said that NW’s premise is a complete lie and called the claim “nuts.” As for Suri Cruise, there’s no indication that the young teen is interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.
She’s currently busy with school at the moment and the extracurricular activities that she’s involved in. This isn’t the first time that a gossip publication has involved Suri Cruise in an unfounded narrative. Most of the bogus claims would usually center around Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, and the relationship that the teen has with both.
