There is no doubt that Eugeo is a competent fighter and could even be considered one of the best if only because he has been training with Kirito. However, he might be facing an impossible enemy to defeat in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 18. Is this the end for the blonde swordsman just as he finally met his childhood friend once again?
As TheAnimeScrolls notes, Kirito and Alice are merrily slaughtering their way to find Eugeo who will be facing Bercouli Synthesis One in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 18. Based on his appearance and the size of his sword, this is no ordinary opponent. Kirito might have stood a better chance at beating him, but Eugeo does not exactly enjoy the same level of plot armor.
With this being the case, it is entirely possible for him to be killed in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 18 and right in front of Alice, at that. Regular critics of this series will likely say that this is a predictable path of events because it would then allow Kirito to lay claim on the brainwashed girl. However, this would be too cynical a view.
Instead, it’s probable that Eugeo will be able to hold his opponent off in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 18 long enough for Kirito and Alice to find him. From there, it’s just a matter of guessing exactly what will happen. Along the way, the protagonist has been peppering the Integrity Knight with details about her past, so it’s possible for her to side with them in the end.
If this happens in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 18, defeating Bercouli Synthesis One would be less of an issue. Whatever the case may be, fans will have to wait until Feb. 10 to find out.
