MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 09, 2018 -- TWD & Associates, Inc. (TWD), a technology solutions provider, today announced that it is working to develop and deploy a modernized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Partnership and Engagement (OPE) with the goal of enhancing stakeholder communications and collaboration. Delivered through TWD’s Agile Solutions Center, this implementation will apply leading agile SCRUM methodologies and cloud capabilities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of OPE partner communications and internal operations.
“DHS is a leader in embracing cutting-edge solutions and agile methodologies to modernize its legacy systems,” said Larry Besterman, President and CEO, TWD. “Working as a highly-collaborative team, TWD and DHS will implement this cloud-based CRM solution that will not only improve stakeholder engagement, but also reduce infrastructure footprints and generate cost and automation efficiencies.”
OPE serves as the DHS Secretary’s office for communication with key stakeholders nationwide to ensure unified and appropriate engagement. To best manage these communications and for more effective information sharing, this CRM system will facilitate, streamline and collect information between private sector, elected and appointed officials – including CEOs, Governors, Mayors, tribal leaders, county officials, law enforcement, fire fighters and academia – as well as the national associations that represent these stakeholders. The CRM solution will deliver measurable improvements in OPE’s ability to build and manage relationships with these stakeholders through more efficient engagement, contact management, internal operations, reporting and analysis of metrics and outcomes by:
- Improving the ability to manage relationships with all partners and stakeholders
- Enabling collective awareness of homeland security priorities for DHS and its stakeholders
- Consolidating and maintaining comprehensive records of all interactions and supporting efficient retrieval, analysis and reporting
- Supporting comprehensive data analytics
“TWD has made a commitment and investment in our ability to deliver agile programs using cutting-edge methodologies,” said Besterman. “This commitment is evidenced by the success of our Agile Solutions Center, which has seen a 45 percent increase in our team members over the past 18 months and the enhancement of major government applications with significant impact to the mission and the citizen. This project will provide OPE proven scalability, rapid time to delivery and the opportunity for continuous innovations. This can serve as a model for future CRM deployments across government.”
