“The Blacklist” Season 6 is one of the most closely guarded properties in TV land, with news about the upcoming season being sealed tighter than a sardine can. This is why it can be difficult to get any kind of new information about the upcoming episodes. Fortunately, the TV gods can be kind from time to time and it was just revealed that the show is getting a new recurring character.
Courtesy of the Marvel TV show “Agents of SHIELD,” the new character will be played by Coy Stewart who also played Flint in the superhero show. In any case, he will be inhabiting a new role in “The Blacklist” Season 6 as someone who is a bit like a chameleon. That is to say, he can blend in so that he will not be noticeable to those who he may want to avoid.
This new character will be first introduced to the audience as a prison inmate who is apparently behind bars for a crime that he did not commit. This makes him something of a rarity in a show that is literally all about criminals. Since he will be a recurring character in “The Blacklist” Season 6, it’s safe to say that he will likely be working with the rest of the cast as a force for good. This tidbit is courtesy of a new report by TV Line.
“Coy Stewart (aka Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Flint) will recur during Season 6 as a young man caught in the prison system for crimes he didn’t commit; during his time behind bars, he has learned how to keep his head low and blend into the scenery, a skill that has served him well,” the report reads.
For fans of the show, the premiere of “The Blacklist” Season 6 has been set for Jan. 3, 2019. It will be presented as a two-night event with episodes aired in two consecutive nights.
