DALLAS, Aug. 30, 2016 -- The Delta Companies (TDC), a leading staffing firm for healthcare professionals nationwide, announced it has been certified by The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services Certification program for the fifth time. According to The Joint Commission, this certification demonstrates a higher standard of service and provides a framework for structure and management within the organization.
TDC’s certification benefits healthcare facilities by ensuring business continuity and streamlined onboarding. In addition, this certification confirms for clients that TDC follows industry best practices, such as conducting quality assurance checks on all provider candidates, keeping accurate medical and drug screenings on file, and ensuring that performance reviews take place during an assignment or placement.
“Holding the certification for healthcare staffing from The Joint Commission has allowed us to streamline our process and develop checks and balances that ensure we are providing quality healthcare professionals to the facilities we staff," said DeLibra Wesley, Vice President of Risk Management, Delta Healthcare Providers (DHP). DHP is the division of TDC that provides allied healthcare staffing services.
TDC’s certification also enables hospital associations, which are required to be Joint Commissioned certified, to maintain industry consistency by working with a partner that has been recognized for operating at the same high standards.
In 2008, TDC was one of the first healthcare staffing firms to be recognized by The Joint Commission’s certification. Re-certifications are conducted every two years.
