“The Flash” Season 5 Episode 8 is going to feature yet another time travel storyline where Barry (Grant Gustin) runs back to the past. This time, he will be bringing Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) along with him to do something or other for the sake of the plot. When will these people learn that time travel is a horrible idea?
In “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 8, the team has come up against another villain who can only be defeated by breaking the laws of physics and going back in time. It would seem that Cicada (Chris Klein) is so troublesome that running at faster than the speed of sound is literally not enough to stop him. Why would it though when such a convenient method would shorten the story?
Coming back to the main point, it’s clear that Team Flash is doing this time-travel thing a little too much. Considering what will happen in “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 8, however, none of them seem to have really understood this.
“Barry and Team Flash come up with a plan to stop Cicada. The plan calls for Barry and Nora to travel back in time to gather some key necessities, however, and Barry hesitates, concerned about his daughter seeing certain parts of his life. Meanwhile, Sherloque (Tom Cavanagh) takes his concerns about Nora to Iris (Candice Patton), and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) turns up a key asset in the fight against Cicada,” the synopsis for the episode reads.
On the matter of Nora, there are now several signs of the speedster developing troubling characteristics. This is concerning, especially since this is not the first time that a good person became a villain in this show. “The Flash” Season 5 Episode 8 might be the next step to that when it airs on Dec. 4.
