NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2016 -- Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (Nasdaq:TNXP) (Tonix), which is developing a next-generation treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), announced today that it will present efficacy results of a retrospective analysis of TNX-102 SL (cyclobenzaprine HCl sublingual tablets) for the treatment of military-related PTSD in a poster at CNS Summit 2016 being held October 27-30, 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida.
Gregory Sullivan, M.D., chief medical officer of Tonix, will present the poster, titled, “A Retrospective Analysis of the Efficacy of TNX-102 SL in Military-Related PTSD: Determining the Appropriate Severity Threshold for Trial Entry Using the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5”.
Tonix recently held a successful End-of-Phase 2 meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) based on positive data from its 12-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 AtEase clinical trial evaluating TNX-102 SL in military-related PTSD. Tonix intends to commence a Phase 3 study of TNX-102 SL for the treatment of military-related PTSD in the first quarter of 2017.
