NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2016 -- The Wall Street Journal will again bring together more than 125 of the world’s top chief executives to address critical business and policy issues at the ninth annual meeting of The Wall Street Journal CEO Council (http://ceocouncil.wsj.com). The meeting will take place November 14-15 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C. The opening program will address U.S. leadership in the world and the goals of President-elect Trump.
Led by the Journal’s senior editors, this year’s annual meeting will focus on what new approaches will be taken on subjects such as: energy policy, immigration and national security and other matters.
“This year’s meeting of the CEO Council will provide an unparalleled opportunity for business leaders to learn the myriad implications of the biggest change in Washington in many years,” said Gerard Baker, Editor in Chief of The Wall Street Journal, who will deliver the opening remarks.
The two-day program includes on-stage interviews with influential policy makers and subject-matter experts, including; Senior Trump Campaign Advisor Rudy Giuliani, Trump Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway, Clinton Campaign Advisor Gene Sperling, Director of the National Security Agency Michael S. Following the interviews, CEO Council members will separate into breakout sessions to debate some of the most pressing issues facing business today. This year’s breakout topics include: the digital transformation, searching for growth, income inequality, the changing workplace, business reputation and healthcare redux.
