Ali Hammoud is a PhD candidate at Western Sydney University. He is broadly interested in Shīʿīsm and Islamicate intellectual history. His doctoral project examines Maḥbūb al-Qulūb, a little-known doxography authored by 17th century Shīʿī philosopher Qutb al-Dīn Ashkivarī.
