Money 20/20 event to feature sessions on fintech and blockchain

Money 20/20, the world’s largest payments and financial services innovation event, will be held from Oct. 23-26 at The Venetian in Las Vegas that will see delegates from nearly 200 Georgia-based fintech and financial services professionals, finextra reported.

According to the event website, the event is led by FinTech Atlanta and will have sessions including ‘Identity Solutions, Blockchain & Financial Inclusion in Emerging Markets’, ‘Blockchain Applications in Capital Markets & Global Trade Finance’, ‘The Rise of China FinTech: Challenges & Opportunities for Western Players’, ‘The Role of Local Governments in Building a Thriving FinTech Ecosystem’, among others.

The event is expecting 10,000+ attendees, including more than 1,000 CEOs, from over 3,000 companies and 75 countries. The panel of speakers during the event will consist of leading professionals and experts in the industry including Adam Ludwin co-founder & CEO of Chain, blockchain technology infrastructure provider for financial institutions; Barry McCarthy, EVP, Networking & Security Solutions at First Data; Thong M. Nguyen, President of Retail Banking at Bank of America; among others.
