Microsoft is releasing two more “Xbox One S” bundles in celebration of the upcoming release of its “Gears of War 4” title. This now makes three bundles with the fourth installment to the phenomenal shooting Xbox exclusive as the theme.
The first bundle for the video game title was released back in July, TechTimes reports, which included the “2TB Xbox One S” console, “Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition,” exclusive in-game items, and a season pass. It also came with a six-gear pass and a limited edition red-themed controller.
Not content with offering all of those tempting items, Microsoft will also sell a $349 bundle with a 1TB White edition of its slimmer console, along with a controller to match and a digital copy of the game. The interesting thing about this bundle is the digital copy of the game, which allows players to play it using both the console and the PC.
This is thanks to the Xbox Play Anywhere service that Microsoft unveiled some time ago, which does address one barrier that players often run up against when choosing platforms. The company also assures players that achievements and save progress will be the same regardless of how often they switch platforms thanks to Xbox Live.
The other bundle is called the “Deep Blue 500 GB Xbox One S Gears of War 4: Special Edition Bundle.” As the name suggests, the console will be colored deep blue. This pertains to both the body and the controller. The lower storage space might be an issue but it does come at a lower price of $299.
Just to sweeten the pot, customers who buy either bundle will also have the chance to get the “Xbox 360 Gears of War Collection” for free, Ubergizmo reports. The offer only stands for a limited time, so interested customers will want to hurry up.
