LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27, 2016 -- Air Lease Corporation (NYSE:AL) (the “Company”) announced the pricing on September 26, 2016 of its public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 2.125% unsecured senior notes due 2020 (the “Notes”). The Notes were offered to the public at a price of 99.643% of their face amount. The sale of the Notes is expected to close on October 3, 2016, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
The Notes will mature on January 15, 2020 and will bear interest at a rate of 2.125% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears on January 15 and July 15 of each year, commencing on January 15, 2017.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness.
