Amflow opened European sales of its TL Carbon electric bike Monday and scheduled a three-model U.S. launch for later that day, giving buyers access to bikes priced from $3,899 to $6,799.
The TL Carbon went on sale in Europe at 3 a.m. ET, Amflow said in its Oct. 26 announcement. The company listed a U.S. price of $3,899 for that model, $4,999 for the PR Carbon and $6,799 for the PR Carbon Pro.
Amflow rates the TL Carbon’s Avinox M2 motor at up to 125 Nm of torque. The company says the bike weighs as little as 22.6 kg and has a 200 kg total weight limit that includes the bike, rider and rack loads.
The two PR Carbon models have removable 800 Wh batteries weighing as little as 4 kg. Amflow rates the PR Carbon’s Avinox M2 motor at up to 125 Nm of torque and the Pro’s Avinox M2S at up to 150 Nm.
Amflow claims up to 158 km of range for the PR Carbon. Its test used an 80 kg rider on a flat paved road in Eco mode, traveling at 21 km/h with a cadence of 65 rpm and default assist settings. The company says temperature and wind speed can affect actual range.
In June, Amflow described the TL Carbon as its first all-terrain touring e-bike, extending its range beyond electric mountain bikes. U.S. sales of all three models are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET Monday.
