Motilal Oswal Financial Services’ Nandish Shah recommended buying Eternal and Varun Beverages, while advising investors to hold Jio Platforms, according to NDTV Profit’s report on its Oct. 28 “Ask Profit” program. Angel One’s Osho Krishan advised avoiding General Insurance Corporation of India, the report said.

Shah’s reported target for Eternal was ₹400 over the next 12 months; the article listed its price at ₹326. For Varun Beverages, he set a ₹530 target and said investors could buy more, with the stock listed at ₹404.50.

The report said Shah recommended holding Jio Platforms for the longer term after a ₹1,350 target had been reached. Jio’s shares were listed on the BSE effective Oct. 28, according to the exchange’s listing notice.

The Hindustan Zinc entry is less clear: NDTV Profit labeled Shah’s call “Buy,” while the supporting text said he had a neutral rating and suggested switching to an operating company for exposure to higher steel prices and growth in zinc and silver volumes. The report listed the stock at ₹506.80.

NDTV Profit said Krishan’s Avoid call on General Insurance Corporation of India, which the company calls GIC Re, followed a breakdown below the former ₹330 support level, with ₹310 to ₹305 cited as a possible lower range. The report said he would consider buying if the stock reached that range or moved above ₹330.

The same article reported a separate buy call from Krishan on Crisil, with a short-term target of ₹5,800–₹5,900. It said the advisers’ views were their own and advised readers to consult their own investment adviser.
