Last week, Page Six published an article online that claims Angelina Jolie is trying to use the gossip media to gain the upper hand in her custody battle against Brad Pitt. A few days later, talk show host Wendy Williams went on a rant saying that the “Tomb Raider” alum is indeed trying to use paparazzi to her advantage.
But Williams didn’t stop there. The talk show host went on a rant saying that Angelina Jolie is unlikable and that she’s going to loser her superstar celebrity status if she keeps up her antics. Williams added that she’s siding with Brad Pitt on this narrative but also called the “Troy” actor gullible, Hollywood Life reported.
What’s more, the outspoken talk show host brought up the incident where Angelina Jolie fired her lawyer. The camps of Jolie and Brad Pitt have yet to comment on this development.
As for the custody proceedings, both parties are currently in a temporary agreement to equally share time with their children. But for the overall case, Angelina Jolie is trying to acquire full custody of her kids. The “Maleficent” star has already received a warning from a judge that if she withheld visiting time from Brad Pitt, then her chances of getting full custody will go down the drain.
What’s more, the judge emphasized that the importance of Brad Pitt in the lives of their children as a father figure is an integral factor in their healthy development towards adulthood. Angelina Jolie then gave in to the judge’s mandate, which eventually resulted in her complying with the temporary custody agreement they have right now.
The custody case between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has currently turned into an unhealthy back-and-forth accusation that is not beneficial for both camps. The “Salt” actress accused her ex-husband of being a “deadbeat father,” to which the actor responded he has already spent millions of dollars in child support and Jolie’s allegation is unfounded.
Gossip media recently said that the noise generated by the custody battle of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt resulted in their daughter, Shiloh, running away from home. However, there is no official confirmation that the teenager did manage to slip from their estate so news regarding this development should be taken with a grain of salt.
