A calculation from Anthropic’s June share price points to an implied equity value near $998 billion, giving investors a private-market reference point as the AI company prepares for a planned Nasdaq listing.

The estimate starts with an approximate share count of 16.94 billion on a fully diluted basis. At that scale, each $1 of share price represents about $16.94 billion in equity value; the June Series H reference price of $58.90 therefore points to roughly $998 billion. This is an estimate from private-round terms, not an IPO valuation announced by Anthropic.

Cash and marketable securities totaled $131.65 billion on June 30. The company also had $2.5 billion in restricted cash, and its secured line of credit was $15 billion.

Anthropic had more than 11,900 customers whose spending exceeded $100,000 over the preceding 12 months. More than 1,900 customers spent above $1 million, while about 250 passed the $10 million mark.

The seven co-founders collectively held more than 55% of effective voting power. F-class shares represented 50.1% of total voting power. The co-founders have earmarked 80% of the holdings they own personally for philanthropy.

Reports of higher valuations reflect separate investor discussions. Reuters placed one set of conversations near $1.5 trillion, while Bloomberg described a distinct range of $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion. Both accounts concern discussions, rather than an offering price set by the company; EconoTimes previously covered the reported IPO valuation discussions.

Anthropic’s current target is a Nasdaq market debut in the week beginning Nov. 16.
