Apigee Hosts “FinTech API Summit” on Digital Transformation in Financial Services

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 26, 2016 --

WHAT:
Apigee®, (NASDAQ:APIC), developer of an intelligent API platform for digital business, will host the “FinTech API Summit 2016,” a one-day event for banking and financial services executives to learn how to better leverage digital technologies to foster digital engagements with their customers, partners and employees. The event will explore topics such as how to use APIs (application programming interfaces) to build dynamic ecosystems of value.

Forrester senior analyst Peter Wannemacher will headline the event with a presentation titled, “APIs take center stage for Banking IT Execs.” Additional presentations from executives at financial services companies including Tradier, First Data, and Vantiv will round out the agenda. Industry experts will share how organizations may use APIs and other digital technologies to accelerate application development, improve security, scale innovation, and unlock new services and channels of engagement. Presentations will include case studies, best practices, and demos.
