Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson recently announced their engagement, after just a few months of dating. Things happened so fast between them and because of this, there are rumors that the couple is now slowing down their romance. Have they gotten tired of each other already?
Reveal reported that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s romance is coming to a halt because the former’s family is urging her to slow down. “The Light Is Coming” singer’s family is allegedly concerned about how fast things are progressing between the two so they want Ariana to take it easy, at least until the “Saturday Night Live” comedian signs a prenuptial agreement.
Yes, it is said that the singer’s family wants her to prepare a prenup before they get married. The tabloid wrote that Ariana Grande's net worth is $25 million while Pete Davidson's is just close to $2 million.
“No one is saying that Pete is a gold digger, but is she is not careful, she could lose a lot,” the family reportedly said.
In another report from National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop), it is alleged that Ariana and Pete discovered that they have nothing in common. It is further said that the singer’s friends are now worried that the two will never make it to their wedding. “She has a crazy busy schedule, and at first it was exciting for Pete to date one of the world’s hottest singers. But now it’s not so much fun being Mr. Ariana Grande.”
Now, this story is false because just a few days ago, Ariana Grande appeared on "Good Morning America" and she was all praises to her soon-to-be husband. She also revealed that Pete is her soulmate and “He just ticks every box, and it gets better every day.”
She also shared that they are now preparing for their 2019 wedding and she is having so much fun doing it. “It’s really fun. I work so much I’ve never spent so much time planning something that’s personal, that feeds my soul so much and my heart,” she gushed. “I’m gonna cry. I’m just so excited.”
E! News also reported that Ariana Grande had never been so happy until she met Pete. It pointed out that ever since the 24-year-old found Pete, her happiness has exuded around her.
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson met in March 2016 but they were still dating other people at that time. Both of them broke up with their partners in May this year and a few weeks after that, they confirmed their dating status. The duo got engaged in June.
