Is the Ariana Grande and BlackPink collaboration possible? There are fans who have been dreaming that these talented artists would team up and create a good song or perhaps, they can also just perform on the stage together and sing their hits. Whatever the set up is, fans have been calling for their collab.
Then again, it should be noted that this Ariana Grande and BlackPink collab is just a rumor at this point because their production teams have not commented on the possibility yet. But still, there is a strong possibility for this to happen because if the fans want it, then the producers are listening. Plus, the artists themselves are also willing to participate.
Grande meet-up with BlackPink
Ariana Grande and the BlackPink members already meet each other in the states when the South Korean girl group watched the American songstress’ concert. Grande posted a photo of their meet-up in April, and the comments were mostly asking for a collaboration.
Ariana Grande also expressed interest in collaborating with the 4-member band. Via Twitter, someone asked if she would ever collab with Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé, and she answered in affirmative. “Yes, but I would probably pass out,” Grande replied in July.
Another sign the collab could happen
This week, Tommy Brown, music producer and well-known to be behind Ariana Grande’s many hits such as “7 Rings” and “Thank u, next” have visited South Korea and hanged out with BlackPink. It appears that the producer visited the quartet in YG Entertainment’s office and perhaps, the collab is underway?
While many are convinced that this is it, Ariana Grande and BlackPink must confirm this team up by themselves. Or, their agencies could also announce the news for them. As fans are waiting and hoping for this to happen, they can continue to call for the team up until the executives finally addressed the requests.
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande, just performed at the Lollapalooza this past weekend, as per Billboard. The songstress performed "Boyfriend" live and it was said that this is the first time that she sang it live and the audience was amazed
