‘Arrow’ Season 5, Episode 10 Spoilers: “Who Are You” Teases Return of Different Laurel Lance; Felicity Wants Revenge on Prometheus for Boyfriend’s Murder

‘Arrow’ season 5’s episode 10, titled “Who Are You?” teased the return of a different version of Laurel Lance speculated to be the Black Siren. Meanwhile, Felicity wants revenge on Prometheus for the murder of her boyfriend Detective Malone.

The synopsis for “Who Are You?” posted on TV.com reads, “Oliver (Stephen Amell) worries that Prometheus is right and he is truly a killer at heart, so he looks for a ray of hope and finds it in what seems to be the miraculous return of Laurel Lance (guest star Katie Cassidy).

However, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), still reeling from Detective Malone's murder, is bent on revenge and wants to stop Prometheus at any cost. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) fights for his life in prison.”

It was previously teased that the incoming episode of The CW’s action-crime television series based on the DC comic book character the Green Arrow will feature the return of Laurel from the dead. However, it seems that Star City’s most beloved public servant will not be who she seems, according to Hidden Remote.

Laurel was Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) love interest and longtime friend and served as a lawyer in the position of Assistant District. She was inspired to take up vigilantism after the death of her sister. She eventually joined Team Arrow to become the Black Canary.

Unfortunately, Laurel was killed after being stabbed by Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) during his prison escape in season 4. However, Laurel reappeared in episode 9 when Oliver found her waiting for him at the Arrowcave. It was speculated she may have been resurrected by a Lazarus Pit as another version of the heroine from a different Earth – specifically as the Earth-2 doppelgänger Black Siren.

Meanwhile, it seems that the death of Detective Malone (Tyler Ritter) continues to weigh heavily on Oliver and Felicity. Felicity is revealed to want nothing more than extract revenge on Prometheus and will do everything she can at whatever cost. Malone was killed off when he was abducted by the villain and used as bait to lure in the Green Arrow.

‘Arrow’ season 5’s episode 10, titled “Who Are You?” is scheduled to air on The CW on January 25, 2017. It was directed by Gregory Smith and written by Ben Sokolowski and Brian Ford Sullivan. It will be followed by episode 11, titled "Second Chances," scheduled for February 1.
