Asian markets in red after FOMC, gold and silver higher

All the major Asian indices are trading on a lower note after FOMC kept interest rate unchanged. Gold and silver were trading on a higher note as gold made high of $1,342 and silver touched high of $20.38 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 0.70 percent lower at 16,550 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.46 percent lower at 2,015.21 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.4 pct at 2,980.50 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.4 pct at 3,204.46 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.36 percent lower at 22,140.15 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.40 percent higher at 5,562 points.
