Asian markets marginally higher, gold stable around $1,255

Major Asian indices were trading marginally higher on last working day of the week. On the other side, gold and silver were also trading lower. Gold was trading around $1,255 and silver was trading around $17.41 marks. Today in early hours of Asia, China released CPI data with positive numbers at 1.9% m/m vs 1.3% m/m previous release.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.52 percent higher at 2,025.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.37 percent higher at 16,836.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,056.99 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,298.73 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.56 percent higher at 23,161.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.02 percent higher at 5,436.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open down 0.2 pct at 9,198.26 points.
