All the Asian indices were trading on a mixes note on the Monday. In early hours of Asia, Japan released GDP data with higher than expected numbers while China released retail sales data with lower than expected numbers. Gold and silver were trading lower in early Asian hours. Gold was trading around $1,217 and silver was trading around $17.21 marks.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.23 percent lower at 1,979.36 points.
Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 1.68 percent higher at 17,666.50 points.
Shanghai composite index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,187.71 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,409.22 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 1.29 percent lower at 22,241.26 points.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.74 percent lower at 5,332.40 points.
