Asian markets mixed, gold stable at $1,216

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Friday. Gold was trading around $1,223 mark while silver was trading around $15.93 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.12 pct higher at 20,124.35 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.08 percent higher at 26,368.19 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.23 pct higher at 2,414.24 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.03 pct lower at 10,457.88 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.27 pct higher at 5,753.90 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.23 percent lower at 9,868.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.15 percent lower at 31,988.60 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,212.03 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,682.62 points.
