Every fan likely knows by now that the series is much closer to the end, so they should not be surprised to see more important characters die in the remaining chapters. “Attack on Titan” chapter 132 is not an exception as its story features several deaths, including Hange.
‘Attack on Titan’ chapter 132 leaked spoilers: More characters meet their demise
Leaked spoilers of “Attack on Titan” chapter 132 are now widely available online, and it is one installment that fans might have to read while sitting down. One of the earlier spoilers published online indicated that at least two characters will die and, unfortunately, that will include one of the fan-favorites Hange Zoe. While Hange’s death is a saddening plot twist, the premise of her demise is nothing less than heroic.
Floch gets a surprise return when he shot the Survey Corps’ plane. He manages to hit its fuel tank forcing the army to stop. As a retaliation, Mikasa aims her grappling hook at Floch hitting him in this throat, thus, causing him to die in “Attack on Titan” chapter 132 as well.
However, Floch’s action would also lead to Hange’s death. With the plane needing to be repaired, the rumbling caused by approaching titans reportedly begins giving the Survey Corps not much time to escape. To buy her army some time, Hange decides to stick around, face the incoming titans, and fight them on her own in “Attack on Titan” chapter 132.
This becomes her final sacrifice as the commander. But the “Attack on Titan” chapter 132 will later confirm that Hange manages to kill three Colossal Titans. But the spoilers mention that the more emotional scenes from her death come when she is reunited with Erwin and the other fallen soldiers. Armin is reportedly appointed as the new commander following Hange’s death.
‘Attack on Titan’ chapter 132 release date, where to read
There a few more surprises in “Attack on Titan” chapter 132 other than Hange’s death and Floch’s short-lived comeback. But the chapter ends without giving an update on Eren’s latest whereabouts, the spoilers suggest.
“Attack on Titan” chapter 132 is officially slated to be released on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The latest chapters are individually released in its digital form on Amazon, ComiXology, and on the subscription-based platform Crunchyroll.
