Azuki NFT collection has partnered with Korean hip-hop group, Epik High to design original visual art for their upcoming Coachella show.
Epik High is one of the most influential hip-hop groups from South Korea’s Seoul. Actually, Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz formed the band in 2001. Back then, hip-hop was not as popular in South Korea as it is now.
Epik High was the first Korean act to ever perform at Coachella in 2016 and would be the first Korean act to return to the festival.
The band has also released a new album in the lead-up to the festival. Epik High Is Here (Part 2), their tenth studio album, also explores themes of "self-love, loneliness, and confidence."
Azuki NFT has been making waves in the NFT industry in recent weeks. The project's floor price has surged following an unexpected NFT airdrop (currently at 22 ETH). This prompted numerous blue-chip NFT holders to express their dissatisfaction, as their projects' floor was nowhere near that of their peers. Azuki's collaboration with Epik High has just put another feather in its cap.
