BLS Polymers Limited shares opened at ₹248 on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, 65.33% above the ₹150 IPO price.

The NSE opening was ₹98 above the offer price; shares began at ₹244.10 on the BSE, a 62.73% premium. BLS Polymers’ percentage gain was about 3.06 times Jio Platforms’ debut increase on Oct. 28. Jio opened at ₹1,358 against a ₹1,119 IPO price, a 21.36% rise. The comparison uses each company’s percentage increase from its own offer price.

The IPO was entirely a fresh issue of 17 million shares, so its proceeds go to the company rather than selling shareholders. In the prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), BLS Polymers allocates ₹77.56 crore to expand its Goa manufacturing site and ₹89.50 crore to working capital; it assigns the remaining net proceeds to general corporate purposes. The filing says the Goa project is intended to lift capacity for some existing products.

The manufacturer makes polymer compounds for the wire and cable sector and for protective layers on buried oil, gas and water pipelines. Its prospectus shows wire and cable compounds provided 80.93% of revenue in fiscal 2026, while the 10 largest customers together accounted for 66.81%. The filing identifies both figures as concentration risks. It warns the Goa expansion could be delayed or cost more than planned. The filing lists power, telecommunications, railways, water distribution and oil and gas distribution among the industries it serves.
