‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4’s episode 10, entitled “Means to an End” may find Tess arresting Cat. The series finally returns to The CW after being on a hiatus for a week.

Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan return for another episode of the police-procedural drama series after going on a hiatus for one week. The two play lead protagonists Catherine Chandler and Vincent Keller, respectively.

According to Carter Matt, the incoming episode may see friendship being tested. In the promo, Tess (Nina Lisandrello) warns Cat (Kristin Kreuk), “We’re on opposite sides now. Be careful.” Tess is later seen arriving at Cat’s place with fellow officers. She surprisingly tells Cat, “You’re under arrest,” with the officers subsequently putting Cat in handcuffs.

Although it seems that Tess has finally succumbed to the power of the law and will disregard her long-formed bond with Cat. In the preceding episode, J.T. (Austin Basis) tells her that she should stop trying to cover for them. Perhaps Tess finally listens and goes to arrest Cat. However, it was also suggested that the arrest is only part of a bigger plan in store.

Meanwhile, Vince is also seen being subjected to tortuous experiments after finally turning himself in. He tries to satiate a mystery buyer by undergoing a series of tests. Cat will do her part of trying to clear Vince’s name and asks J.T. and Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) for help.

The episode synopsis posted on The Hollywood Hills reads, “Vincent (Jay Ryan) is going to be forced to undergo a series of tests orchestrated by the mystery buyer in order to keep from being exposed.” David MacLeod directed the episode with Melissa Glenn’s script.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ is a police procedural drama and science-fiction series developed by Sherri Cooper-Landsman and Jennifer Levin. It is loosely based on the television series of the same name, which first aired in 1987. The new series first aired on The CW on October 2012.

It was previously announced that season 4 will be the show’s final season, with the final episode airing on September 2016. Season 4’s episode 10, entitled “Means to an End”, is scheduled to air on August 4, 2016.
