‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4’s episode 6, entitled “Beast of Times, Worst of Times”, will find Cat and Vincent at odds with one another. Meanwhile, a new villain emerges and Vincent is met with flashbacks of a traumatic past.

Episode 6’s synopsis posted on Carter Matt stated, “Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) discover that there is another nemesis out to get Vincent, which brings the gang closer together in more ways than one. Cat and Vincent are forced on opposite sides of the law, which puts their relationship in jeopardy.” It seems that Cat and Vincent’s already tumultuous relationship will be put to the test once more after they find themselves at odds with each other.

It was suggested that Vincent’s past will return to haunt him. The preceding episodes found Cat and Vincent struggling to fight off predators and bounty hunters out to reveal the latter’s identity. According to another article on Breathe Cast, a brand new villain will emerge in the season’s incoming episode.

The promo for episode 6 opened to Vincent learning more about his previous attacker. The sniper that aimed to take down Vincent turned out to be a former sergeant, who is experienced in hunting down beasts. Another scene shows Cat and Vincent driving a busy street. Cat concludes, “I’m pretty sure someone’s tailing us,” while checking her rearview mirror. A vehicle then pursues them in top speed.

In another scene, Vincent is worried that the new antagonist will prompt him to turn back into the beast. Cat reassures him, “I won’t let that happen.” Vincent is them bombarded by flashbacks of transforming into the creature after being injected by a mysterious serum.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4’s episode 6 is directed by Norma Bailey and written for the small screen by Patti Carr. It is scheduled to premiere on The CW on July 7, 2016.

The long-running police procedural and science-fiction television series is loosely based on the original 1987 CBS series of the same name. It was developed by Sherri Cooper-Landsman and Jennifer Levin. It premiered on The CW on October 2012. Season 4 was announced to be the television series’ final season, with the finale scheduled to air on August2 2016.
