“Better Call Saul” season 5 is returning with Jimmy McGill’s transformation to Saul Goodman. This is Bob Odenkirk’s character becoming closer to the character that he has in the “Breaking Bad” series, and recently, the actor revealed many surprising details about the upcoming chapter of his drama.
Odenkirk revealed what Jimmy McGill’s fate will be in “Better Call Saul” season 5. He hinted that it is something that the followers of the show may not be too happy to see. However, the story must still take this route because it is where the character was really heading since the beginning.
Jimmy’s life and transformation
As mentioned, “Better Call Saul” season 5 will show the pinnacle of Jimmy McGill’s transition that has been slowly happening over the years. The viewers will see him as an ordinary person, and a loyal ally who turned into a crooked lawyer later, and the fifth installment could introduce his full-blown transformation to Goodman.
Odenkirk said that fans better watch “Better Call Saul” season 5 because it is the best yet out of all the seasons. “It’s the best season we’ve ever done, it’s going to blow your mind, and I’m not kidding about either of those things,” he told Deadline. “It’s f***ing awesome. I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s just shattering in every direction, and I love it.”
Jimmy’s fate
The actor revealed that Jimmy McGill was only being bad sometimes, but now he is going all out to be Saul Goodman. He explained that this happened because he is just so just too angry inside and doesn’t want to think about who he really was which is Jimmy McGill, someone good who always wanted to do the right thing and wanted to be respectable. However, the turn of events made him a bad guy. “Better Call Saul” season will also show how things pan out for Jimmy in the end, but Odenkirk confirmed that things are looking dark.
Meanwhile, “Better Call Saul” season 5 is expected to drop soon as filming is almost complete already. The premiere date is likely to happen early next year.
