BlockShoals Technologies Inc. said Binance told it that no personal information of users in the Philippines was affected in the Oct. 29 incident, with withdrawals returning in phases since Nov. 1.

BlockShoals said it is bringing independent cybersecurity firms into a review of the incident. Separately, the company said its talks with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will consider possible effects on its Strategic Sandbox project, known as StratBox.

BlockShoals said credentials tied to the incident were revoked and affected systems restored. It added that Binance closed the access routes used in the attack and would draw on the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU), alongside company funds, to cover losses.

For updates, BlockShoals directed the public to Binance’s official channels and cautioned them about offers to recover funds.
