Phoenix, June 30, 2017 -- / FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — For the past 12 months, BioNovelus (ONOV) has been proud to be one of a select group of companies to be part of the Phoenix-based Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation’s (CEI) incubator program.
The Phoenix Chamber of Commerce recently presented CEI with their annual IMPACT award for “remarkable results and accomplishments while moving their company and the local economy forward.” CEI celebrated this distinction with a special VIP open house intended to showcase their incubator program and the good work they are doing there.
“Being part of the CEI incubator program has been invaluable to BioNovelus,” says CEO and founder Jean Ekobo. “At present, we are in our phase of expansion and marketing our products, laying the foundation for a fabulous future. From January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2016, the CEI startup residents have established an impressive track record of impact. These entrepreneurs have generated more than $69 million in total gross revenue. They have created 247 jobs at an average salary of $56,000. They have raised more than $28 million in capital investment, grant funding and awards. They have received over 3240 hours of direct one-on-one business counseling and mentorship. Dignitaries attending the event included representatives from Honor Health, the City of Phoenix, Aaron Capital, Snell & Wilmer, and the AZTech Council. The CEI incubation program includes such up and comers as Somatic Labs, Beacon Biomedical, Neolight, Pinnacle Transplant Technologies and another dozen companies. BioNovelus is proud to be part of this innovation movement.
