BitLicense revision’s 30-day comment period starts today

The 30-day period for submitting comments on New York's latest BitLicense draft proposal commenced today.

The official comment period was kicked off by the release of the notice in the New York Register.

After nearly three weeks since the framework's introduction, the publication looks likely to stimulate a fresh round of discussion over the regulation and its more controversial measures.

The previous comment period saw over 3,700 comments from participants as varied as Amazon and Walmart. The comment period will conclude on 27th March.
